Getting started

This guide will hopefully assist you, start to finish, from making an account to running your first script with your very own profile. About ten minutes, most of which is you reading this page :D

1. Make an account

Head to the sign up page and pick a username, write your email and a memorable password. We will email you a verification link, click it to confirm your address. If it is not there, have a look in your spam folder, and you can request to send it again from the sign up page.

2. Wait for approval

An admin gives the new registered users a quick review before they can sign in. It keeps the bots and spammers out, and it does not take long. You start on a free trial, so having a go costs you nothing.

You will receive an email once your account is approved.

If your account is not approved within 24 hours, please contact us using the form at the bottom of the home page with your username, email address, and your Mist World character name and ID.

Why do we need this info?

Its plain and simple. We want to verify malicious intent. We take the security and comfort of our users very seriously and really don't want to mess anything up for others. We ask that you please have consideration when taking actions regarding mwMod, as we want to give everyone the best possible experience when using our product.

3. Grab the bot

When you sign up we will email you a download link and it is on your account page too. Unzip mwMod into your Mist World folder so it sits next to the game. It keeps itself up to date after that, so you only need to download it once.

4. Sign in

Open mwMod and sign in with the same username and password. Your account, your time and your scripts follow you around, so it does not matter which machine you are on. However do note you will have to transfer profiles, and you can even share them to other people too if they are using your character.

5. Set up your character

Press Control plus G to open settings, go to Profiles, and pick Quick setup. Answer a few questions about your character and mwMod will build a profile for you. You can change any of it later by hitting Quick edit.

6. Play

Start the game from mwMod with Alt plus G, run your script, pick your profile when it asks, and off you go. Press Control plus H any time for the help screen, where you can also open your account or renew, and the chat is right there if you want to reach another player or an admin. To reach the admins directly, submit a report with /report.

7. What should I first try?

Great question, glad you didn't ask! We have a list of scripts you can download from the files manager by pressing Control plus F. We have limited script creation and running source scripts to script makers, however if you're interested in writing and publishing your own scripts, please submit an application in the account page and we'll get back to you. Please note that during the trial period, no applicants will be accepted due to stability factors that we need to address.

7.1. What do you have so far?

We have:

• clearbag, which clears the inventory of unwanted items. You may be familiar with this system, just drop your normal clearbag.txt into the mwMod directory and hit clearbag.
• Scorps, which is for all those lazy people who want to do scorpion cave without lifting a finger.
• sell your collection, which is a basic script that allows you to focus the npc, and quite literally instantly sell your collection items.
• SmartSellShardsCompanion, which allows you to select which shards you would like to sell in a navigable interface (be near the shard npc please).
• And our ultimate wapper with cheese, smartFarmingCompanion.

7.2. What is smart farming companion and why does it deserve its own heading?

Developed by our very own Draquila, admin and primary script writer, this script features more than 20 maps, a fully in-script configurable scheduler, buff manager, autoreply manager, mob chaser, inventory manager, stats tracker, pet and health regeneration manager, auto-detectable fusion beast rider, a potion, pet food, hearthstone and other items replenisher, and other things in the ultimate config that you do not have to open a single file in Notepad to use.

If you're an elf, it also uses combos! Wahoo!

His dream is to one day get a smart AI companion in mwMod. I think that's why he made his script so complicated that I, the developer, probably didn't even list all of the features :(

8. Get more time when you want it

Note: Payments are currently disabled during our free trial period.

When you are running low, buy more from your account page or just press Control plus H and tab to the account button in the bot. It is 10 days for $2.50 or 30 days for $7.00, and you can add extra game windows, extra scripts or an extra machine onto an active plan. No auto renew, so you only ever pay when you choose to. Our payments are handled by Stripe rather than PayPal, to give access to more users around the world.
